Obituary of Rosanna E. Payne

STOW- Rosanna E. Payne, 84, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2011, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Wellford, WV, she had lived in Stow since 1965 and retired from Firestone Steel Products in 1993 after 15 years  service.  Mrs Payne was an active member of Grace Baptist Church and had served many years as church secretary at Chapel of Prayer. Preceded in death by her husband Leon and daughter Heidi, she is survived by her son Kevin; grandchildren Travis and Connie and brothers Billy, Harold and Charles McCroskey. A special “thank you” to Hospice of Summa for their wonderful care of Rosanna.  Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday 4 to 7 PM.  Pastor Bob Stephens, Rev. Willie Smith and Pastor Jason Bowman will conduct service  Thursday 11 AM at Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd, Akron 44306, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time.  Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church.  Mrs. Payne's video tribute may be seen here.
