Obituary of Emma H. Tijunelis
STOW – Emma H. Tijunelis, 86, died October 8, 2011.
Born in Lithuania, she was a longtime area resident and member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and fellowship with people.
Preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1986; sister Wanda and brother Gustav Hasebein, she is survived by sisters Martha Baleika of Arizona and Olga (Otto) Schwanker of Germany; nieces Diane (Mark) Meintel and their children Michael, Danielle and Michelle; Karen (Mike) Brittain and their children Connor, Rachel and Jenna; Diala (Mark) Ruple and their children Mark and Natalie; Lillian (Dave) Meintel and their children Christine, Sarah, Elizabeth and Gabriel; nephews Richard (Karen) Hasebein and their children Jennifer and Nicholas; Harry (Janet) Hasebein and their family Katie, Madelyn, Elizabeth and Abigail.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 4 to 7 PM. Pastor Arthur Cubbon will conduct service Wednesday 3 PM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, 3725 Kent Road, Stow. Entombment Crown Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church. Emma’s video tribute may be seen here.
