Obituary of Lorraine E. Morris
Mom slipped away quietly August 22, 2011 to join Dad (Willie), her son David and great-grandson Tyler Rice.
She was born to Fannie and Robert King October 15, 1923 in Montevalle, VA.
Preceded in death by brothers Harry, Charles and George King and Michael Smith and son-in-law Herb Leach, she will be greatly missed by sons Barry (Trudy), Bruce (Lynn); daughters Marilyn Leach and Judy (Vince) Smith; 10 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and sister Sandra McIntyre.
She resided in Munroe Falls for 60 years and was well known for her flowers, music, great sense of humor and quick wit. She was also talented in sewing and remodeling/refinishing projects.
The family is grateful to Stow-Glen staff for their gentle care and to Harbor Light Hospice.
Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Thursday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour prior to service time. Burial at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Akron- Canton Regional Food Bank, 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron 44307.
