Obituary of Mary Lou Briggs

Mary Lou Briggs (nee Felton), peacefully passed away on July 30th at the age of 84. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bruce Briggs. Beloved mother of Susan Greco, Dale, Beth McCormick, Bruce and Mark. Beloved Grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Erin, Katie, Allison, Sarah, Emily and Rosie. Great-Grandmother to Mekena and Peyton. Born and raised in Springville, NY, Mary Lou lived in Hudson for 40 years and was a proud Alumnus of The University of Michigan. She had a great curiosity about everything and had many interests to include antiques, books, cooking, baking, gardening and politics. Mary Lou was busy with several bridge and book clubs and treasured the friendships she made. She was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star in New York. Friends and family will gather for a celebration of Mary Lou’s life on Saturday, August 13th from 1 to 4 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road in Stow.
