Obituary of John W. Wiggins

MUNROE FALLS - John W. “Jack” Wiggins, 83, died June 16, 2011. Born in Coshocton, he had lived in Stow and Munroe Falls since 1959 and retired from Firestone Tire as Manager of Retread Sales.  Jack’s memberships include First Christian Church of Stow, Masonic Lodge, Tadmor Temple Shrine, Akron Rubber Group, Society of Automotive Engineers, National Tire Dealers, American Society of Testing and Machine, and American Society for Quality Control.  He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ellie; daughters Debbie (Gary) Bernauer of Brecksville, Linda (Ken) Nickson of Kent; son, Bill (Mary Jo) of Copley;  sisters, Kay Brand of McAllen, TX and Clara Herrick of Grove City, OH; brothers, Don of Marengo, OH and Ray of New Albany, OH; grandchildren, Jason, Michael and Brianna Wiggins, Kaitlyn Bernauer, Cody and Austin Nickson; great-grandson Dominic Wiggins. Cremation has taken place.  Rev. Jonathan Rumburg will conduct a memorial service 11 AM Tues. at First Christian Church of Stow, 3493 Darrow Rd.  Friends may call 6 to 8 PM Mon. at Redmon Funeral Home and one hour prior to service Tues. at the church.  Burial will be private at Rose Hill Cemetery.
