Obituary of Elsie Hagmann

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Elsie Hagmann, 86, passed away unexpectedly at home October 7, 2014. Born on November 13, 1927 in Akron, Ohio she was a resident of Cuyahoga Falls for over 50 years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. While she spent some of her years as a secretary at General Tire, her most beloved job was as a devoted housewife caring for her daughters. Later in life she took enjoyment by being an active participant in her grandchildren’s lives. She will be best remembered for her love of all animals, finding the good in everything and everyone, as well as the importance of her family and faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 2013, parents Andrew and Francis Cappabianco, siblings Carmel Iacobucci and Joe Cappabianca. She is survived by her daughters Becky (Sam) DeBartolo, Lisa (Tim) Cairns, and Julie (Greg) Rager; grandchildren Abigail (Brett) McLaren, Tiffany (Andrew) Acton, Sam DeBartolo, Celeste Cairns, Alex Rager and Carly Rager; great-grandson Dillon Acton; siblings Fred Cappabianco, Carolyn Brown; sister-in-law Anna Cappabianca. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation SUNDAY  1 to 3 and 5 to 9 PM with Rosary at 1:30. Mass of the Christian Burial MONDAY 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery.
