Obituary of Anna May Frampton
STOW – Anna May Frampton, 97, died March 31, 2011.
A lifetime area resident, she was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Akron and a charter member of the Grandmother’s Club of Silver Lake. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Paul, brothers and sisters Walter Grant, Lucille Stokey, Marvin Grant and Genevieve Blasens, she is survived by daughters Barbara Minchin of Stow and Marilyn (Gordon) Frampton Shilling of Mentor; grandchildren Terri Morris, Tracey (Jim) Stoff, Barbara (Mark) Blake, David (Michelle) Shilling and Heather (David) Ross; great-grandchildren Scott Morris, Grant (Amber) Morris, Matthew Minchin, Grayson Stoff, Kathleen Blake, Taylor Shilling, Jacob Blake, Harrison Stoff, Alexis Ross, Zachary Ross, Connor Shilling, Morgan Ross and Cassandra Shilling; great-great-granddaughter Emma Morris; brother Ralph (Jane) Grant, many nieces and nephews, many friends, church family and “mama’s third daughter” Shirley Jacot.
Friends may call Tuesday 4 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home and Wednesday 10 to 11 AM at First United Methodist Church of Akron, 263 East Mill Street, Akron, where Pastor Douglas Meek will conduct service at 11 AM. Interment at Crown Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Akron or American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, OH, 44406.
