Obituary of Joseph A. Van Domelen
TALLMADGE – Joseph A. Van Domelen, 55, crossed the finish line March 22, 2011.
Born in Muskegon, Michigan, he was a longtime Ohio resident. Joe loved NASCAR, Cleveland Browns, golfing, gadgets, clocks and camping.
Preceded in death by his parents John and Nancy and sister Ann, he is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters Kelley (Jack) Boyle and Aimee (Allen Swartzlander); step-children Kelley “Squared” and Christopher Bohaychyk; sister Susan Loudermilk; brother Neil (Sharon Catley) Van Domelen; step-mother Augusta; niece Rachel Van Domelen; nephews Jon Van Domelen and Daniel Loudermilk; brother-in-law Brent (Susie) Schneider and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. William Wolf of University Hospital, Dr. Doug Trochelman, Summit Oncology, and the staff of Summa Oncology for their wonderful care of Joe.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 4 to 8 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Saturday at 2 PM. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Stewart’s Caring Place, 2955 W. Market Street, Suite R, Akron 44333.
