Obituary of Betty J. Breckenridge

Betty Jane Breckenridge (nee Schroth), 84, died March 18, 2011.  Born December 24, 1926 in Cleveland, she graduated from Avon Lake High School and Dyke Spencerian College and married Don Breckenridge in 1948.  Betty and Don built their home and raised their two children in Hemlock Hills in Russell.  As an “at-home mom”, Betty was active in school, neighborhood and township activities.  Later she enjoyed her work as office manager at Etna Products for over 30 years and was a charter member of Ledgewood Church in Russell.  Betty joins in Heaven her husband, as well as parents, Eleanor (Kable) and Edward Schroth, and siblings Edward, Eleanor and Patricia. She leaves behind son Donn (Darlene) Breckenridge and daughter Lynn (Anthony) Doskocil.  She also brought joy to grandchildren Jay, Adam and Jillian Doskocil and Rachel Breckenridge.  Father Neil Crosby will conduct a private service with the family at Redmon Funeral Home.  Graveside service and burial will be held  Monday 1 PM at Riverview Cemetery in Russell.
