Obituary of Mary Louise Manley
Mary-Lou Manley, 86, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother departed this earth to be with her Lord February 20, 2011.
Born in St. Augustine, PA on October 31, 1924 Mary-Lou moved to the Akron area in 1944 and has been a life-long resident of Munroe Falls since 1962. Mary-Lou was a parishioner of St. Eugene’s Catholic Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
Preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Catherine Davis; brothers Edgar Davis and Paul Davis of St. Augustine, PA, sisters Julia Davis of Munroe Falls and Ann Cole of Pittsburgh, PA; she is survived by brothers John Davis and wife Mabel of Brookpark; George Davis and wife Berla (deceased) of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Robert Davis and wife Barbra of Telford, TN; son Thomas Volpe and wife Terry of New Smyrna Beach, FL; daughter Loretta Taylor of Stow; son Dennis Volpe of Stow; daughter Denise Schmader and husband Richard of Knoxville, TN, son Todd Manley and Janice Kampf of Hudson; son Tim Manley of Munroe Falls; six grandchildren; Kevin, Melissa, Geena, Tashia, Tanya and Tim along with five great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday 10 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.
