Obituary of John G. Pulley

MUNROE FALLS- John G. Pulley, 71, died January 25, 2011. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, he was a lifetime area resident and had retired as Captain from the Stow Fire Department in 1984 after 14 years service.  John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, woodworking and wildlife, but his favorite moments were those spent with his children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Carol in 1993, he is survived by his children John B. and Carl, both of Stow, Steven (Jeanette) of Munroe Falls, Eva Timms of Kent, Kevin of Akron and Brenda Miller of Cuyahoga Falls;  grandchildren Stacy, Ashley, Christopher, Mitchell, Andrew, Jared, Amber R., Amber, Aaron and Matthew; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Eugene of St. Petersburg, FL, Dave and Jim both of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters Donna Mae Ambrun of Stow, Barb Scrattish of Barberton and Dixie Crow of Cuyahoga Falls. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  Rev. David Klein will conduct service Saturday 10 AM at The Church of New Hope, 4415 Darrow Road in Stow.  Burial Stow Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Stow Firefighter’s Local 1662 Benevolent Fund, PO Box 1804, Stow 44224.
