Obituary of Constance E. Joseph-Cundiff

A circle of loving family and friends were with Connie as she entered her new life and ended her struggle with acute myelogenous leukemia on January 5, 2011. Born in Akron, Connie was a lifetime area resident who dedicated 28 years of her life to AA.  Her favorite times were those spent with family, dancing, horseback riding, fishing, and her faithful furry companion - Lilly. She had a heart that was full of love for others and eyes that sparkled like the stars.  Preceded in death by husband Robert Cundiff, the love of her life, and also by her brother Albert Calli, she will be sadly missed by her daughter Lynn (Bill) Newenhisen of Granger; son Jeffrey (Karen) Joseph of Solon; grandchildren Jillian (David) Pelland, Jessica (Daniel) Clemens, Jacob Best, Shannon Best and Peter Newenhisen; great-grandchildren Ella, Owen and Cathryn Pelland, Cale and Avery Clemens; special family Don and Lana Joseph; step-children Dave (Cathy) Cundiff, Jim (Darice) Cundiff, Paul Cundiff, Cinda (Fred) Farinacci, Julie (Jeff) McLain; step-grandchildren  Bill, Dan, Jon, Lauren, Devon, Kendra, Maya, Bryan, Mike, Robert, Vicki and Anthony. Please join us for a celebration of her life, Monday 5 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends are invited for visitation on Monday from 11 AM to 1 PM and from 3 PM until 5 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333 or to the American Heart Association.
