Obituary of Alonzo Paynter

Alonzo “ Ben” Paynter, 81, died November 15, 2010.  Born in Columbus, he served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, was an avid golfer, a member of the Sons of Herman, Stow United Methodist Church and the Stow Munroe Falls Lions Club. Preceded in death by his wife  Jean  in 1995, he is survived by his children, Barry (Angela), Craig, Scott (Mollie), and Linda (Blake) Rhein, grandchildren, Shane, Colin, Alex, Andy, Delaney, Alanna, Kailey, Sarah and Blake Jr., brother Richard (Jane) and long time companion Linda Holbrook. There will be no calling hours.  Service will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 27th 2 PM at the Redmon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family requests gifts to be made to the Western Reserve Academy Alumni Development Office, 115 College Street, Hudson, OH 44236 in memory of Ben Paynter.
