Obituary of Robert B. Thompson
Robert B. Thompson, 80, died September 14, 2010. Born in Cleveland, he was proud to be a Marine earning a Purple Heart during the Korean Conflict. He was a Past Master of Hudson Lodge #510 F&AM, a skilled woodworker and a retired electrical engineer from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.
The children would like to thank dad for instilling family values in each of them.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, daughter Judith (Philip) Hilinski, sons Mark and Matthew (Tamara), grandchildren; Stephanie, Cathy, Jake and Cooper, sisters Jean (Dr. Richard) Kraft and Carol Machoukas.
Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home Sunday from 12 to 3 PM, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Sunday 3 PM. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the DAV, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0201.
