Obituary of Jack Vanaman
ROOTSTOWN – Jack Vanaman, 79, died August 11, 2010.
A longtime area resident, he proudly served in the US ARMY during the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper and retired from Chrysler Corporation in 1989 after 30 years of dedicated service.
Preceded in death by his parents Albert and Margaret Vanaman and brother Edward, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet Cramer Vanaman; daughters Suzanne (Mark) Jenkins and Denise Vanaman; granddaughters Ashley and Alyssa; brothers Keith (Karen) Vanaman and Don (Sarah) Vanaman; sister Isabel Hickman; mother-in-law Mary Cramer; brothers-in-law Ronald (Barbara) Cramer, Don (Debbie) Cramer, Jerry (Chloe) Cramer, Danny (Barb) Cramer, Clem (Madeline) Cramer, Rex (Lee) Cramer, Jim (Vicky) Cramer, Mike (Michele) Cramer; sister-in-law Carole (Bob) Madden and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where service will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM. Committal service Monday 9:30 AM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
