Obituary of Jerry L. Gran

STOW- Jerry L. Gran, 59, died suddenly July 20, 2010 while vacationing in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, he was a lifetime area resident, a US Army Reserve veteran and was employed with Coca-Cola.  A skilled handyman, Jerry was also an avid golfer and bowler, having bowled games of 300 and 299. A humble, true gentleman and man of his word, Jerry was quick with a smile and would do anything for anyone.   Two of his greatest pleasures in life were his children and hearing his wife Deborah sing. Preceded in death by his father William L. Sr., he is survived by his wife of 27 years, Deborah; son Jerry Lee II; daughter Michelle Lee;  mother Eloise; sister Cindy; brothers Bill, Jr., Terry, Jim and Blaine; his dog Luke and many other relatives and friends.  Friends may call, in their casual golf attire please, Monday  7 to 9 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where Deacon Joseph Pepoy  will conduct service Tuesday 10  AM.  Burial  Silver Springs Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Charles Faust Post 281.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Mr. Gran's video tribute may be seen here.
