Obituary of Elisabeth Sofia Steinlechner

STOW – Elisabeth Sofia Steinlechner, 82, died July 21, 2010. Born in Rielasingen, Germany, she was a longtime area resident. She enjoyed needle crafts, knitting, crocheting and cooking. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Friedrich Steinlechner; daughter Veronika (John) Metcalfe of Massachusetts; sons Gerhard (Teresa) of Brimfield and Roland (Kathy) of Stow; grandchildren Bryan (Andrea), Brenda, John, Danielle, Joseph, Ryan, Mary, Abigail, Anna and Charlotte; great-grandchildren Alex and Joseph; sisters Hedwig Feigl of Australia and Rosemarie Kohler of Germany and brothers Arnold and Rudolf Furst of Germany. Dr. Russell F. Metcalfe, Jr. will conduct a memorial service Monday 6 PM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call Monday 5 PM to 6 PM. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
