Obituary of Gordon H. Simon

STOW- Gordon H. Simon, 83, died July 13, 2010. Born in Cleveland, he was a Stow resident for 15 years and a US Navy veteran of World War II. Gordon had retired from CTG in 1989, was a member of Hudson Lodge #510 F & AM and had worked at MAPS Air Museum. Preceded in death by his sister Virginia Malo, he is survived by his wife of 32 years Eileen; sons Scott (Janet) of Parma Heights, Mark (Leisha) of Marlboro, MA, Lee (Fabi) of Raleigh, NC; step-daughter Susan (Jonathan) Best of Novi, MI; grandchildren Jack, Tommy, Randi, Julie, Derek, Jon and David Simon and Kathryn Best; sister Beverly (Jack) Phillips. Friends may call Friday 6 to 9 PM at Redmon Funeral Home. Dr. David Baker will conduct memorial service Saturday 11 AM at First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls 44221. Private burial Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls or Hudson Lodge #510 F & AM
