Obituary of Eugene L. Palmer

  STOW- Eugene L. Palmer, 89, died July 9, 2010.  Born in New Lexington, Oh, Gene had served his country in the Army during World War II, establishing telecommunications.  He retired from Western Electric with 40 years of service.  Mr. Palmer was a longtime member of Stow Alliance Fellowship Church and Fox Den.   Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his wife Frances, son James E. Palmer and parents George Erwin and Ethel Stimmel Palmer, and son James E. Palmer.  He is survived by daughter Jo Ann Bamdas, and her husband, Michael, grandson Jason Tucker, great-grandchildren Christian and Ashlee Tucker, sister Gladys Castle, and brother Bobbie D. Palmer. Pastor John Cervone will conduct service at the Redmon Funeral Home Monday 1 PM, where friends may call Monday 11 AM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
