Obituary of Mark David Hartburg
STOW – Mark David Hartburg, Jr., 20, died June 28, 2010 surrounded by family. He went to be with his Savior after a courageous battle with Leukemia and a life of inspiration and determination.
Born at Grand Forks AFB, ND, he had lived in Stow since 1999, graduated from Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (CVCA) in 2008 and was attending ITT Technical Institute. Mark was a student who cherished all of his friendships, computers, gaming, music, poker with dad, fishing, watching movies, Ellen, and all cooking shows.
Preceded in death by his grandfather Harvey Hartburg, Jr., he is survived by his parents Mark and Sonya Hartburg and sister Kaitlyn Hartburg of Stow; grandmother Frances Butler of Portville, NY; grandparents Paul J. and Nancy J. Moser of Kent; great-grandmother Margaret Wolfe of Allegheny, NY; many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and wonderful friends.
Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 9 PM at Redmon Funeral Home in Stow. Pastor Jerry Witt will conduct funeral service Thursday 11 AM at Hope Community Church, 3033 Middleton Road, Hudson, where friends may call Thursday from 9:30 AM until service time.
