Obituary of Margaret L. Tresh
Margaret L. Tresh was born in Haleyville, AL in 1924 and resided most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls. She peacefully started her journey to heaven May 12, 2010 from home with her daughters by her side. She was a very special mother, grandmother, friend to many; stranger to none. You may know her as Q-tip, a nickname given to her by a very cherished friend. She loved to meet new people; always had a smile and a joke or story to tell for all those she met. She loved her Isaly’s family and friends. She was a proud member of St. Eugene Catholic Church and she loved her family there too.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, daughter Nancy Gardon-Brooks, twin sister and brother Hazel Greene and Hollis Frederick, she leaves a lifetime of memories with her daughters; Barbara Tresh and Gena (Todd) Mullis, grandchildren, Joseph Tresh, Monica (Tim) Shepherd, Jeremy (Jennifer) Coker, Jacob (Krista) Coker; great-grandchild Ada Caroline Shepherd. Special thanks to neighbors Pat, Jennifer, Jeannie, Kathy, Margaret and Ruth. A special thank you to our angel Kathy Jones for all her help and to Dr. Stuart Kanter and his group from Summa Care and Hospice Care, we couldn’t have done it without them.
Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home Monday from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.
Mom’s wishes were for you to search out a rainbow, enjoy a sunset, listen to a child’s laughter, hold a hand, walk in the rain, tell someone they are worthy, share a smile, believe in angels, enjoy a fire’s glow, enjoy the smell from gardenias; enjoy friends, close and faraway, most of all make a new friend wherever you are, and if you see someone without a smile; give them one of yours. Tell someone, anyone you love them, celebrate the life God gave you every day. ANGELS ON YOUR PILLOW MOM, WE LOVE YOU. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 525 East Market St., P.O. Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-9976.
