Dave married my wife, Myra, and I nearly 38 years ago and we are forever thankful for his wise pre-marital counseling. Dave provided much needed godly counsel when I was deciding whether to go into social work in 1971 and when I was wrestling with whether to go to seminary in 1977. His humble and Christlike example has always been an inspiration to me and I will always be grateful for his role in my life. Barb, our deepest sympathy to you and your family in this time of your loss. May His all sufficient grace sustain you in the days ahead.

Barb and family sorry for your loss , but as you know only GOD and time can heal the loss words are insufficient . Our youngest son returned from Camp Carl one year excited and told us that Dave Fair had saved him while he was at the camp that week. As you know Dave had counseled with him that week . We were and are forever thankful for that counseling from Dave at that point in time many years ago .

Dave, a Man of Christ, lived his life contributing to the betterment of others. I came to know him especially for his work with youth, adolescents in particular. He made a difference one young person at a time for literally thousands over the years. He remains an inspiration to us all in social services both as a humanitarian and a leader in social services. His work was a blessing and a legacy for others to follow. My sincere condolences to the family upon the loss of this quiet giant of a Man.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Dave's entire family. Dave was our youth director in Jr. High at the Chapel and his faith in Christ made me desire a deeper personal relationship with the Lord. His consistent example of kindness, intelligence, faithfulness, compassion, humility and humor were a constant joy to all who knew him. It was a honor to see the love for one another within his whole family.
May the God of all comfort keep your hearts in His precious peace as you remember his wonderful service for Christ.
With love & care.

Wes and Family,
I am so sorry that you are temporarily separated from your awesome father. What a wonderful impact he had on mankind, for Christ, in his corner of the world. I feel for you all, because it's such a loss losing a loving parent/spouse/grandfather. I'm saddened to hear of his passing. Only King Jesus, risen Messiah can make this a victory story, and He does this, indeed. However, I will pray for His Spirit to comfort you all during this time of grieving. I'm sorry, Wes, both for you and your family members.
Greg Pavlik.

Dave started out as my boss in January, 1983. It wasn't long before he became my mentor and my friend. Most importantly he is my brother and some day we will praise Jesus for eternity!
Until then, I will miss his influence and wit.
