Obituary of Ronald W. Lopeman

MUNROE FALLS - Ronald Welby Lopeman, Sr., 79, went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2015 Born in Charleston, WV, he graduated from Hudson High School, attended Akron University and served with Patrol Squadron Ten, Brunswick Naval Air Station in Brunswick, Maine with the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Ron had been employed with Ford Motor Co., Terex, Massey Ferguson, Morse Controls, Baker McMillan and International Paper Co. He was a member of Hope Community Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet; son Ronald (Phyllis) Lopeman, Jr.; daughters Sue (Tom) Lause, Beth (Bob) Goff; grandchildren Travis, (Tara) , Brittany, Austin, (Callie), Katie, (Freddy), Kelly, Bobby and Grace; great-grandchildren Annalese, Titus, Brennen and Brielle and brother Edward (Cheryl) Lopeman. His family praises God that he is in Heaven with his Lord and Savior and they will greatly miss his passion for the Lord, sports and family. The family is thankful for all of the prayers of encouragement, comfort and love for Ron and the family. The family especially thanks Meg and all the Hospice Angels for their overwhelming support, compassion and love for Ron and their family. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home in Stow for visitation Tuesday 5 to 8 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, 10 AM at the First Congregational Church 47 Aurora Street, Hudson, OH. Entombment Crown Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries.
