Obituary of Jeane M. Galehouse
Jeane M. Galehouse, formerly of Stow, died March 21, 2015.
Born in Alliance, she was a longtime Stow resident and active member of First Christian Church of Stow. Jeane had been employed with the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools, retiring in 1984 after 22 years' service. She also had worked over 10 years for Ashland, Mount Lebanon (PA) and Amherst schools. She had volunteered with her church, the Kiwanis and the Stow-Munroe Falls Service Center for the Salvation Army.
Preceded in death by her husband Frank Galehouse, she is survived by her son Scott (Michelle) Mills of Van Wert; sister JoAnn Schentur of Independence; step-daughter Susan (Ben) Laubach of Stow; step-son Steven (Diane) Galehouse of Bay Village; grandsons Aaron (Tiffany) Mills of Toledo; Christopher (Sarah) Mills of Monroeville, IN; and David Mills of Toledo; great-granddaughters Zaylie Mills of Monroeville and Harper Mills of Toledo. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, George Scott and Elizabeth Anne Kallenbaugh, her former husband Harry Mills, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Martha Kallenbaugh, sister and brother-in-law Bette and Charley King, brother George Scott Kallenbaugh, Jr., and brother-in-law Raymond E. Schentur.
