I was one of Bob's students when he taught 5th grade at Portage in North Canton, and then again when I was in the 7th grade, he was a great teacher, his students liked him and he could make learning easy for his class. I remember many of my grade school teachers, but I have always remembered him, he was one of the teachers who influenced me to become a teacher (also at Portage). I know his family will miss him, may beautiful memories sustain you during this time of sorrow.

Dear All,
My deepest sympathy to you all for your loss.
Carolyn-what a wonderful man Bob was. So kind and thoughtful. I enjoyed our Christmas Eve evenings with him at our home. Know that he is in a much better place and think of all the good times you two shared together. You will be on my mind during the difficult days ahead.
Love, Marcia

Carolyn,
I know there are no words of comfort anyone can offer at a time like this but please know that I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Remember that at the end of this life is an open door (or an open window) and beyond that opening there is only joy.
Love, Jacquie

Thinking of you all at this time. So many memories of a Uncle that was gentle, kind and loving who blessed our lives. His wonderful qualities that will remain in our hearts forever. I like this quote.
Always pray to have eyes that see the best, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, & a soul that never loses faith. "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 Blessings as you Celebrate his life that touched us all in so many ways. Love from the family of Bob's Sister Wilda Gail. From Luctetia Voges Ewing Daughter of Wilda.
