Obituary of Deborah Davey

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Deborah Davey, 87, passed away on April 17th, 2015, surrounded by family, friends and Pumpkin her favorite cat. She fought a long and courageous three year battle with breast cancer. She was born in West Point, N.Y. and lived on military bases as the daughter of Lt. Col. Paul L. and Mildred E. Deylitz. She attended the University of Illinois, where she met her husband, Paul W. Davey (deceased 1998). Deborah was known for being a caring, loving and kind-hearted person. She found passion in finding items she would creatively craft into treasures; as an avid collector she bought and sold antiques, miniatures, dolls and doll houses. She enjoyed traveling throughout the country while researching family genealogy. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Summa and all her personal in-home caregivers. She will be missed by her children; Paul James Davey, Susan Davey (Jeffery Bruninga), Bettina Davey, Rebecca Davey-Vivalo (Michael Vivalo) and the light of her life Sean Patrick Flanagan her grandson. A private service was held and burial will be held for the family. In her honor, please support these organizations; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
