Obituary of Louise Anna Vernell

Louise Anna Vernell Louise Anna Vernell, 84, passed away suddenly on May 15, 2015. Born in Warren, Ohio, Louise spent most of her life in Howland, before moving to Stow, Ohio in 2008. She retired from the Warren Police Department after 30 years of service. Louise was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Vernell; two infant sons; parents, John and Anna Mlaker, and brother-in-law, Robert Wood. She is survived by daughter, MaryEllen (William) Barry; two grandsons, Todd (Debbie) Barry of Stow, and Matthew (Michelle) Barry of Auburn, California; five great-grandchildren, Michaela, Joseph, Alex, Quinn, and Michael. She is also survived by sister, Joyce Mlaker Wood and extended families of Rich, Ken (Lisa), and Mike Wood. Friends and family are invited to Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, Ohio, 44224, for calling hours from 10 am to 11 am on Wednesday, May 20. A funeral mass will immediately follow.
