Obituary of Yvonne Marie Hill

Yvonne “Vonnie” M. Hill, 80, passed away June 10, 2015, surrounded by her family. Born in Bobtown, PA, she was an area resident since 1962 and retired as a teacher from the Cuyahoga Falls schools in 1990 after 31 years of service in the Ohio school system. Vonnie was a longtime active member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and was passionately involved in the quilting group. Vonnie also enjoyed her time in the Double T Quilt Guild at Hale Farm and Village and spending time with friends and family. As a loving wife, mother and granny, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, William R.; children: William Russell (Donna) Hill, Jr., Susan (Anthony) Ricchiuto, Clark Allan (Anne) Hill, Amy Beth (Rudy) Stagl; grandchildren: Josh, Amanda, Brian, Drew, Alayna, Saschia, Mario, Geena, Leana, Marina, Sarita, Marissa, Ethan and Angelo; brother Bruce (Barb) Brewer and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Private graveside services were held at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Dr. David Baker will officiate a memorial service Sunday, June 14, 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, 44221. Reception immediately following.
