Obituary of Jack A. Hurst
HUDSON - Jack A. Hurst, Jr., 75, died July 25, 2015.
Born in Cincinnati, he was a 40 year Hudson resident, a US Army veteran and owner of Hurst Printing Inks. Jack was a member of Northeast Ohio Craftsmen Club, Rotary International, ARRL and was a longtime member of The Chapel.
Preceded in death by his parents Jack and Betty Hurst and sister Diane Heichel, he is survived by his wife of 52 years Itsuko; daughter Pamela Hurst-Friedman (Josh); sons Byron (Maria) and Michael (Sandra) Hurst; grandchildren Christian and Jack Rhodes, Sophie Friedman, Aubri, Cameron and Brandon Hurst, Mackenzie and Gracelyn Hurst; sisters Susan (Fran) Davis and Debbie (Gary) Smith and brother Bob (Wanda) Hurst.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday 6 to 8 PM. Pastor Lynn Warner will conduct service Wednesday 11 AM in Memorial Chapel at The Chapel, 135 Fir Hill, Akron 44304. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to The Chapel (for Camp Carl) or to Word of Life Ministries.
