Obituary of Jennifer E Phipps

HUDSON - Jennifer Elizabeth Phipps, 40, went to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, Saturday evening, August 15, 2015, surrounded by loving family and friends. Jennifer graduated from Twinsburg High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University. Jennifer was a Believer and follower of Jesus Christ and a member of Christ Community Chapel. Jennifer took great joy and responsibility in raising her son, John Owen, to know and love the Lord. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Mark; son, John Owen; step-children, Patricia and Stephen Phipps; parents, John and Elizabeth Gibbons; brother, John (Kim) Gibbons; sister, Judy (Donald) Morgan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Marianne Phipps; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Jennifer’s life in Christ will be led by Pastor Marshall Brandon on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 5 PM at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro St., Hudson, Ohio 44236. Friends may call from 3-5 PM and are welcome to join a reception following the service. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery Wednesday, August 26 with the procession forming at 9:15 AM at the church.
