Obituary of Mary Lou Rumpler

Mary Lou Rumpler passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home in Mulberry Gardens Assisted Living in Munroe Falls, Ohio. She was born Mary 22, 1020 in Galion, Ohio, the only child of Robert and Bessie (Smith) Bogan. On September 9, 1945 she married Ward Vernon Rumpler (Bud) who preceded her in death on November 14, 2001. She is survived by daughters Sherry L. Cline of Munroe Falls, Ohio, Cathy L. Burch of Sidney, Ohio, and Laurie S. LaMere (Clete) of Jackson, Wyoming. Two sons, Stephen L. Rumpler, Ft. Collins Colorado and Randall W. Rumpler (Carol) of Glenrock, Wyoming. She has five grandchildren; Tisha Perry (Robby) of Sidney, Ohio, Cassie Webb of Gillette, Wyoming, Devan LaMere of Jackson, Wyoming, Quintin Rumpler and Eliza Rumpler both of Glenrock, Wyoming. She also has three great-grandchildren; Estin and Zavier Perry of Sidney, Ohio, and Valerie Rumpler of Glenrock, Wyoming. Mary Lou was a bank teller when she met Ward through his veterinary practice. Once married, she was a homemaker in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. In 1958, the veterinary clinic was sold and they moved to Sidney, Ohio. There, Ward worked as a veterinarian for the Federal Government. Mary Lou was busy with activities at Sidney United Methodist Church, her children’s activities, and a 4H leader. She was a wonderful seamstress, cook, and baker. In 1972 Ward, Mary Lou, and the three youngest children moved to Pinedale, Wyoming due to a government transfer for Ward. They were busy building their home and mini ranch. Mary Lou became involved in the community and worked at a gift and flower shop. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved entertaining and having family gatherings. Mary Lou has chosen to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Later, her children plan to spread her ashes in Pinedale, Wyoming where Ward’s ashes were spread.
