Obituary of Robert M. Rager

STOW - Robert M. Rager Jr, 84, passed away August 28, 2015. Born in Akron, Robert was a lifetime area resident. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from Mactac with 33 years of service. Robert was an avid bowler, enjoyed oil painting and carpentry. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Knapp, he is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lillian; children, Judy (Dennis) Trogdon, Greg (Julie) Rager, and Laura Rager; grandchildren, Joshua and Fawnia Trogdon, Alex and Carly Rager, Lindsay and Sean Machnikowski; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Genevieve; sister, Dorothy Lewis; brother, Harvey (Margaret) Rager; and many loving family and friends. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 5 to 8 PM, where Rev. Dr. John Schluep will conduct a funeral service Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.
