To the Wyman Family; Sorry for your loss. Alan (Ottis) was a very good friend to me many years ago at Fair Haven Camps. I have good memories of those days and the adventures, or misadventures, we shared.

Dear Marianne, I am so sorry to hear of Allen's passing! I had no idea he was ill ! I always liked Allen! We worked at the Maine Fence Company together for 15+ years. He also was good friends with my ex husband Mark! They used to hunt and fish together quite a bit! I remember one time Allen went ice fishing with us up to Lily bay in Greenville and he pulled our daughter Nicole down to the ice in a sled with some ice traps and stuff,(then she was probably 5 or 6 , now she is 32)! We also roasted hotdogs on an open fire. I will never forget when your son was born ; Allen came in the office at Maine Fence as proud as a peacock and was so ecstatic that you named him Abner! May you find peace and comfort in your memories of him and in knowing that he is in heaven!!!

Allen was a blessing to me as his mailman for last 8 years! We enjoyed talking about our hunting and fishing activity! He always greeted me at home or driving by with a honk and smile. And always cleared a path for me through deep snow for easier access to his mailbox, greatly appreciated! He was more than a customer, he was a good friend! May God comfort all who's life Allen touched!

Marianne & Abner - we are praying for you during this time of loss. Jack told us much about Allen and we were lifting up all of you during his time of illness. May God's peace be with you in an overwhelmingly power way today and in the days, weeks and months ahead.

I'm sooo sorry to learn that Allen has succumd, yet glad to learn he is no longer suffering and that his demise has happened in a close proximity to Domenic (Pizzoferrato's) untimey death.
I have great memories from sharing time with Allen and Domenic from deep sea fishing charters off the North Carolina coast and Ferrato family reunions I've participated in over the past thirty years.
The closeness of their deaths will hopefully make it easier for Annette & John (Jack) Shaughnessy and the Ferrato/Wilson famlies to deal with both of these family loved ones deaths.
Allen loved the outdoors and was a great sportsman that projected his love of nature.

I will miss you always being there in the mornings when I got scared because I heard a noise. I will miss all your stories about fishing and the outdoors. I will miss your upbeat personality and your friendly smile. Not sure what we are going to do at Wayside without "Allen's famous chocolate chip cookies". I will miss you dearly. My condolences to the family.
