Obituary of Robert Harold Morgan

ROBERT HAROLD MORGAN HUDSON - Robert H. Morgan, 87, passed away September 27, 2015. He was a great man with a fighting spirit and is missed by his family. Bob was born March 23, 1928 to Sheridan and Pauline Ott Morgan in Akron. He attended Springfield schools and graduated in 1946. Bob earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Akron and his Masters in Education from Kent State University in 1962. He taught six years at Springfield’s Young Elementary; became principal of Stow’s Highland Elementary in 1960; and later served as principal at Stow’s Riverview, Indian Trail and Fishcreek schools. Bob was also employed at Holy Family Catholic Church. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Greta; his son Jim; grandsons, Lee and Christian; daughter, Teresa and her son; brothers, Sheridan (Margaret, deceased), George (Carol); brother-in-law, Fred (Linda) Ertley; sister-in-law, Susan (Ron) Waldroup; 15 nieces and nephews and their families; and numerous cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his in-laws, Paul and Patience Ertley. Cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a future date. (REDMON, STOW 330-688-6631)
