Obituary of Nona R. Brazis
Nona R. Brazis, 87, died October 13, 2015.
Born and raised in Fulton, NY, she was a resident of Eastlake most of her adult life, and an active member of the Eastlake Community Center, where she enjoyed creating interesting and unique hats for their Easter Hat Parade and playing in the Senior Band. Nona also loved playing the organ and piano and talking and visiting with others. She was a longtime member of Erieside Church in Willowick.
Preceded in death by her husband William in 2012, and brothers Alfred and Wendell Huetson, she is survived by her sons Dick (Terry) and Dana (Sylvia) Hendricks; daughter Cathy Richards; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and step-son Michael Brazis.
Rev. Wally Kukuk will conduct service Saturday 11 AM at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Private burial Monday at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 2820 W. Market Street, Suite 100, Akron 44333.
