Obituary of Samuel R. Myers
TALLMADGE – Samuel R. Myers, 84, died November 2, 2015. Born in Moundsville, WV he served his country in the Army during the Korean War and had retired from the Ford Motor Co. in 1989 with 35 years of service.
Preceded in death by his wife Esther (Ann) in 1997, he is survived by sons Clifford (Nancy) and Roger, daughters, Charolette (Francis) Cullion, Sharon Myers (Dave), 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brother George Myers, devoted friend Evelyn Haymond and many beloved nephews and nieces.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 PM, where Pastor Les Sutherland will conduct service Friday 2 PM. Interment Silver Springs Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest, 175 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308 or American Bible Society, 101 N. Independence Mall East FL8, Philadelphia, PA 19106-2155.
