Obituary of Gary R. Glatzer

TALLMADGE – Gary R. Glatzer, 60, passed away peacefully December 12, 2015. Born in Akron, he was a lifetime area resident, had been employed with Bob Bennett Construction and was a past member of UFCW Local 880. Gary was an amazing father and also an avid Cleveland sports fan and outdoorsman, enjoying boating, camping, hunting and fishing. He was also a league bowler, and loved playing euchre and poker. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Meri, and their loyal companions Jace and Kassie; son Jayme "J.R." (Angelica) and granddaughter Audri; step-daughter Amy, (Chief Warrant Officer Scott) Menhorn and their children Sophia and Chace; step-son Daniel (Kristen) Enright, Jr. and their son Jack. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Friday 4 to 8 PM, where Pastor Bruce Reese will conduct service Saturday at 11 AM. Burial is at Silver Springs Cemetery.
