Obituary of Susan L. Jones

Susan (Sue) Louise Jones (Roach) February 7, 1951-December 21, 2015 “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘many women have done excellently, but you surpassed them all.’” Proverbs 31:28-29 After a long valiant battle with cancer, Sue has gone to be with her Savior December 21, 2015. Sue touched so many lives by the way that she cloaked herself in the love and grace of God. Everyone she met was left with the understanding of what our Savior’s love was. Sue, much like the biblical Naomi, drew to her the people that her children married. They became her children as much as her own flesh and blood. She will be missed with broken hearts by all who loved her. Sue is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years Morgan Dean Jones; her siblings Sharon Collins, John Francis Roach, Jim Roach and Joe Roach; her children John Mark and Rachael Jones, Christy and Andy Wahl, Phillip and Rachel Jones and Barry Craddock. She leaves 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Sue was born at Green Cross Hospital and grew up in Stow, Ohio, the fourth of 5 children. She was involved in many ministries that brought hope to the hurting, and was a member of Stow Alliance Fellowship. She raised her children to know the majesty of God, and graduated two of her three children through homeschooling. Sue lived in Rootstown, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents John Roy Roach, Genevieve May [Pfalzgraf, Roach] Agnew, and grandson David Lanscaster. Please join us in celebrating the homegoing of Sue at Redmon Funeral Home on Saturday, December 26th from 3 to 6 PM. Services, to be led by her youngest son Phillip Jones, will be Sunday, December 27th at 2 PM at Stow Alliance Fellowship Church, 4460 Stow Road, Stow. Burial to follow at Stow Cemetery.
