Obituary of Richard R. "Dick" Clark
STOW- Richard R. “Dick” Clark, 91, died December 23, 2015
Born in Akron, he had lived in Stow since 1987 and retired from North American Philips after 20 years service. Mr. Clark was a US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and member of Acker Moore American Legion/VFW Post in Stow and Holy Family Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by his parents Russell and Josephine and his sister Josephine (Lester) Woods, Richard died the same day and only hours before his brother Roger (Juanita). He is survived by his wife of 67 years Evelyn, his children Evelyn (Tom) Brister, MD, Patti (Tom) Donahue, Larry (Nicole) Clark, Stephen (Linda) Clark and Jim (Kim) Clark; devoted nephew, chauffer Mike Woods; many other devoted nephews and nieces; 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 5 to 8 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial Tuesday 10 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery with full military honors provided by Charles Faust American Legion Post 281.
