Oh my. I just came across this. Jeanne and I were friends at the University of Colorado and had many Economics classes together. We graduated in the same class. I will never forget how she helped pull me across the finish line when I didn't think I could go any further. She also was instrumental in solidifying my faith. Her spirit was remarkable and I was truly blessed by her presence. My prayers are with all of you.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I've only known Jeanne for a short time but like so many others, I instantly grew very fond of her. Jeanne was an amazing woman! She made the world a better place and will no doubt be watching over everyone from where she is now.I feel so fortunate to have spent time with her (and you all) in August. More importantly, I'm glad that our girls finally had a chance to meet her. Amaya loved her instantly and will always treasure the few visits we had to her and Doug's house. We (Amaya, Rayna, and I) are sending you all love and light from Oregon and wish we could be there with you all.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Jeanne in the last couple of years as a Magistrate at Stark County Family Court. Jeanne had an infectious smile and did an incredible job representing some tough personalities. She was always well prepared and showed genuine concern for all of her clients. She was always good for a giggle about something, and I was always glad to see her come through my courtroom door. I will truly miss her, and her death is a sad surprise and quite a loss to our Court. I am so sorry for your loss.
