Obituary of Dolores A. Halpin

STOW- Dolores A. Halpin died February 26, 2016, her 87th birthday Born in Buffalo, NY, she had lived in Stow since 1963 and was Eucharistic minister and a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. Dee was a lifelong learner, enjoyed reading and travelling. She also was an active volunteer with Good Neighbors and the Stow Munroe Falls Public Library. Preceded in death by her husband Larry and their son, Michael, she is survived by daughters, Marianne (Richard) Stana of Fairfax, Va., Maureen Halpin of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Lawrence D. of Stow, John D. (Karen) of Cuyahoga Falls and Joseph P. (Ann) of Munroe Falls; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters June McCarthy, Margaret McNamara and Dolly Culhane and sister-in-law Pat (Moe) Maroney. The family would like to extend their thanks to Hospice of Summa and the Visiting Angels of Tallmadge for their excellent and compassionate care. Friends may call at the Redmon Funeral Home Wednesday, 5 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Thursday, 10 AM at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, Fr. Neil Crosby celebrant. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery.
