Obituary of Grace Pappano

Grace Pappano (nee Nardella) Grace was born in Akron, was a Stow resident since 1964 and she passed away on March 6, 2016 at the age of 91. Grace was blessed with a loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, with whom she spent a wonderful life together for over 60 years! She is survived by her two devoted daughters, Janet McMasters (John) of North Canton, Marilyn DiMauro (Frank) of Stow and sweet granddaughter Jill Dixon. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren Ryan McMasters (Nicole) and Linsey Morgan (Eric), Jennifer, Savannah, Addison, Olivia and Avery. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Carmel Julius, Marie M. Pappano and brother-in-law Ed Rosa, along with many loving and supportive nieces, nephews and cousins. Grace was a very talented woman. She was a great homemaker, seamstress, cook and master of Italian pastries. She was formerly employed as a draftsman at Goodyear Aerospace and also worked in the Sale Audit Department of O’Neils (Macy’s). We want to express our heartfelt thanks for the care she was given at Heritage Villas of North Canton. She was always treated with respect and dignity from an absolutely awesome staff. We are very grateful to ALL of you as well as her personal caregiver Rose Everhart. In addition, special thanks to Community Hospice and Crossroads Hospice for their dedicated care as well. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 – 8 pm at the Redmon Funeral Home (Stow). Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 10, 2016.
