Obituary of Gus C. Cheronis
Gus C. Cheronis, 92, of Stow, went home to be with the Lord on March 15, 2016
Gus, a long-time resident of Stow, was born in Akron, Ohio and raised in Megaplatanos, Greece. He returned to the United States at age 23. Gus could always be found outside working in his yard. He loved a good bonfire with his family and spending time playing games together. Gus loved his grandkids and time with family was most important to him. He loved the Lord and spent many hours reading His Word.
Gus is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann; his children, Christine (Carol), George, Marianne (Brian), Denise (Jay) Harbison, Nicole (Dan) Davis; grandchildren, Jason (Christina), Alaina (Thomas), Alexander, Lexi, Madison, Ethan, Connor, Mckenzie and Zoe; and three great-grandchildren as well as family in Greece. He was preceded in death by daughter, Teresa.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:30 until 4:00 PM at Cornerstone Community Church, 5344 Fishcreek Road, Stow, Ohio 44224, followed immediately by a memorial service with Pastor Dan Page officiating.
