Obituary of Barbara A. Hawsman

Barbara Hawsman left this world on April 19, 2016 to fly with the Angels surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on June 25, 1943 in Coalport, PA to Joe and Mary Lazarowicz. She was raised in Akron, where she met her husband Charles. They were married on April 16, 1966 and just celebrated their 50 year anniversary with family. She worked many years as a medical assistant for Dr. Dumpke (retired) and Dr. Capriolla (deceased). Retiring in Brimfield, OH in 2003, her most treasured moments were spent spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved cross stitch, watching Gunsmoke, Nascar and the Cleveland Indians. Barbara and Charles did everything together and were always by each others side. Barbara leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Charles, daughters; Carolyn (Joe), Charlene (Mark), 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren due in May and June, sister-in-law Linda and brother-in-law Richard. Rev. Doug Denton will conduct service Friday 1:30 pm at the Redmon Funeral Home, where friends are invited to visitation Friday from 11:30 am until service time. Interment Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
