Obituary of Alma Cecelia Dailey

STOW – Alma Cecelia Dailey, 87, passed away May 2, 2016. in Olean, New York, Alma was a resident of the area most of her life. Alma enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and decorating. Alma was also an active member of Tallmadge Lutheran Church where she played the organ and taught Sunday school – two of her favorite activities. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bruce; grandchildren, Kim and Steven; sisters, Marjorie and Peg, Alma is survived by her children, Christine Mihal, David (Dawn), John (Gail); grandchildren, Terri (Jack), Tim, Michael, Ben, Shannon (Jim), John Jr.; great-grandchildren, Seth, Austin, Alli, Adam, Alexander; and brother, Lawrence Flanigan. Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation, TODAY from 5 to 8 PM. Pastor Andy Alberts will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 11 AM at Tallmadge Lutheran Church and where friends may call from 10 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
