Obituary of Ronald D. Workman
Ronald Delmar Workman, 77, of Tallmadge, OH, passed away on June 8, 2016 at his home.
Ron was born in Akron, OH to Rufus and Lavena Workman on July 25, 1938 and attended high school at Central. He worked many local jobs throughout his life but enjoyed the many entrepreneurial pursuits related to his painting and home restoration business.
Ron is survived by his three adult children, Michael (Libby) Workman of Ocala, FL, Jodi Workman of Akron, OH, and Mark Workman of Great Falls, MT; sister, Gloria Newman of Scio, OH; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce L Workman, his parents and numerous siblings.
Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Rd, Stow, OH, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at 1 pm with Reverend Ron Carver officiating. Calling hours precede the service from 11am-1pm. Memorial donations may be made to Haven of Rest, 175 East Market St, Akron, OH 44308.
