Obituary of Bernard L. Jegley

STOW- Bernard L. Jegley, 79, died July 1, 2016. Born in Laurel Co., Kentucky, he was a Stow resident since 1966, a US Air Force veteran and had retired from Ohio Pure Food in 2001 after 30 years service. He was also a member of Kent American Legion Post 496 and Cuyahoga Falls Elks Lodge 1923. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carole; daughter Dawn (Noel Chiappa) Jegley; granddaughter Katie (Dr. Nicholas Naro) Chiappa; grandson Peter Chiappa (fiancée Elena Karras) and lifelong friend Jerry (Judy) Smith. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Heather Knoll Retirement Village for their excellent and compassionate care. There are no public services. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in his name to the Salvation Army.
