Obituary of Ivan Vern Fraser

SILVER LAKE – Ivan Vern Fraser, 86, passed away at home on August 1, 2016. Born July 22, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio, Vern graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University and proudly served his country as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. Vern was employed by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and the State of Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances Fraser, he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dolores Jean Fraser; sister, Beverly Gedney; sons, Scott (Sarah) Fraser, Mark (Lisa) Fraser, Craig Fraser (Liana Mihalca); daughter, Gayle (Steve) Barney; grandchildren, Jessica, Wesley, Rachel, Matthew, David, Austin, Georgia, Jaclyn, Dana, Kurt; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Grace, Wyatt, Lily, Sawyer and Xavier. A private family memorial service has been held.
