Obituary of Shane Merrick Brewer

TALLMADGE – Shane M. Brewer, 42, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 11, 2016, due to injuries sustained in a job site accident on August 1, 2016. Shane lived his entire life in the Cuyahoga Falls area, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1993 and owned and operated Akron Construction. In Shane’s short life, he has filled many hearts with his love and many talents such as acting, modeling, playing his guitar, singing, and his creativity in his construction projects. Shane was a loving dad, full of adventure, hard working, witty, compassionate, and life of the party. His effervescent personality drew people to him like a magnet. Shane is survived by his children, Savanna (Kyle) Edwards, Isabella, Catherine and Aubrey Brewer; mother, Linda (George) Monroe; father, Larry (Mary) Brewer; siblings, Shawn, Carla (Richard) Freeouf, Eric, Allison (Adam) Brown, Julie Monroe and Glenn Monroe; his beloved fiancee, Becky Lamlien; and his companion dog, Titus. Friends are invited to Akron Baptist Temple, 2324 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44314 for visitation Wednesday, August 17 from 3 to 8 pm, and where Pastor Ed Holland will conduct a funeral service Thursday, August 18 at 10 am.
