There is no doubt that life is precious, but what makes life precious is not the life itself, but the many people that come along our paths that add to our existence. Jim is definitely one of these people and not only did he contribute to my life, he contributed greatly to the lives of my children.
From the first time he met us, he welcomed us with open arms and offered love to us like no one else ever has. My children carry a special place in his heart, as do many of his children. There are not enough words that come close to describing the man that Jim “is” and I say “is” because no matter whether his physical body is present or not, he lives forever in each of our hearts.
I know a lot of you may carry regret over the could’ve, would’ve, should’ve, but I know that Jim would want us to live our lives in harmony, not sadness and despair. He would want all of us to hold our head up high and keep striving to reach our dreams, whatever they may be. He would want us to keep pushing forward in a direction that is not stunted by what was not done, but by what can be done.
He would want all of us to keep marching on, never looking back….only looking forward.
To me, Jim is one of the greatest people I have known, not just him, but all of the people attached to him. No words could express how grateful I am to be a part of this family and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing, because changing one would not have led me to him or this family. And as I said in the beginning, it’s not the life itself that is precious, it’s the people who come into your life that make it that way. Jim you have entered my life and the life of my boys and for that, you have made all of our lives that much more precious. I know you are looking down on all of us from heaven above. May you forever watch over this family and continue to instill within us, everything that has been instilled within you.
We all love you Jim. You will greatly be missed by many, but especially your little Boo.
Ora, I am deeply sorry for the loss of this "great guy". May the Lord watch over you each and every day, provide you with comfort in your times of sorrow, and continue to bless you with the feeling of ever lasting love.

Ora,
I'm remembering times, Bernis and I spent with you and Jim. S.Ohio ridge walks, black walnut festival, dinners at Applebees and many times at Hartville Flea market.
Time is passing swiftly, be sad for now, and then move on with your memories and better days ahead..

Jean ,Sue,Paula,Julie,Pat and Kevin Thank you for sharing your dad with me. He was a kind and loving Man. I loved listen to him as he told one of his stories from his teenage to the present. I would go into the kitchen at nite to get something to eat or drink and i would hear "what mouse is that in the kitchen" I was "Big mouse "and William was "little mouse"... I miss you Jim1`
